We've all had that experience - clumped and matted hair that's just difficult to untangle! Well, here from Pazam Hair Studio are a few tips on how to return your hair to its normal glossy look.
Don't forget to use hair conditioner during your shower. This will help to keep the natural hair oils locked in, and if that's not helping you can step it up with deep conditioners made using olive oil or coconut oil. If you dampen your hair a bit that will also help with brushing evenly. It's best to rub the hair treatment into the worst affected parts of your hair first, then give it a chance to work.
Gently untangle the most knotted parts of your hair first using your hands. These large, loose clumps can be combed through using your fingers, but take it easy - if it starts to tighten, let it go.
A wide-toothed comb will make it much easier to untangle your hair, and if you start at the ends it becomes a simpler process. It can take a while to work your way up to the roots, but it's worth it. You can lift up sections of your hair to prevent stinging as you comb. Finish up with a fine-toothed comb and you're all done!
